Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement 2025
Intec Microsystems Ltd takes its responsibilities in respect of modern slavery and human trafficking seriously. We are committed to playing our small part in eradicating this modern-day scourge, which has been described as criminality hidden in plain sight. Government research recently concluded that it costs the UK economy £4 billion annually.
This statement relates to actions and activities during the financial year 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
As Director with key responsibility, I am proud to present this public statement of our position. We fully intend this to be a living policy that informs our culture and development, and it will be updated regularly. It will always be displayed prominently on our website, including a hyperlink from the homepage.

Our Organisation
Intec Microsystems is a UK-based value-add distributor of branded IT hardware, services, and support. We work with a broad network of resellers, MSPs, and channel partners to deliver technology solutions into both public and private sector markets. Our core focus is the supply of leading product lines from world-class manufacturers, complemented by service and support capabilities that strengthen our partners’ customer offerings.
Our Supply Chain
As a distributor, our business model is inherently dependent on a reliable and transparent supply chain. Our supply chain is relatively straightforward, with the majority of products sourced directly from established vendors, manufacturers, and authorised distribution partners.
During our investigations, we have not identified significant risks of modern slavery or human trafficking within areas of our organisation or our supply chain. We would describe our overall risk level as low. We operate a legally compliant, planned approach to procurement and payment, and we ensure that our organisation and its staff observe the provisions of the Bribery Act 2010.
Due Diligence
We undertake due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers and regularly review our existing suppliers. Our due diligence includes:
- Mapping the supply chain broadly to assess particular product or geographical risks of modern slavery and human trafficking.
- Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier (this may be part of a more general human rights or labour rights assessment).
- Creating an annual risk profile for each supplier.
Employment Practices
We acknowledge that seasonal work can present particular risks, especially where migrant labour is used. This is a low-risk area for our organisation. We do not rely on seasonal or migrant workers. We always ensure that everyone we engage has the legal right to work in the UK. Our employment policies reflect our commitment to legally compliant employment.
In terms of our suppliers, we encountered no examples of modern slavery or human trafficking in the past 12 months.
One of the most important ingredients of a successful organisation is undoubtedly its staff. We uphold the highest standards in our human resources policies and practices.
Policies
Our equality and diversity policy incorporates our modern slavery and human trafficking guarantee. No member of staff is subject to forced labour or coercion; every member of staff enjoys 100% legally compliant employment.
We provide clear guidance to staff about tackling bribery and corruption. We operate specific provisions through which they can confidentially report any concern or “blow the whistle”. We promote equality and diversity and have adopted measures to deal with any instances of intimidation, bullying, or harassment. All members of staff have access to our grievance procedure.
Provisions such as these not only reflect our commitment to the highest employment standards; they also play an important supportive role in our opposition to modern slavery and human trafficking.
Signed
